at pins (input-output) 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 9-8, 11-10, 13-12

It's advisable to add a diode in series with the external supply
(with reverse polarity the optocoupler won't work but the 
motor will spin, with a diode you'll see immediately that the
polarity has been reversed).
