Updating Xymon Monitor from previous versions ==================================================================== The old SysV scripts for xymon and xymon-client have been replaced with a single systemd unit file, 'xymon.service'. The xymon service controls both the client and server (if installed). When enabled, the xymon service sets up xymon-client alias and either can be used to start/stop the service, which will start/stop both the client and server (if installed). Settings from the two most important files, /etc/sysconfig/xymon-client and /etc/xymon/bb-hosts, should be in place or migrated to the new configuration. All environmental variables used in the previous version prefixed with 'HOBBIT' or 'BB' are now prefixed with 'XYMON'. Any custom scripts using the 'HOBBIT' or 'BB' prefix should be updated to relect this change. Custom edits made to previous version hobbit*.cfg files should be moved to individual files stored in the appropriate *.d directory. Most of the new <name>.cfg files are each set up to include any files stored in the <name>.d directory, so they should not be edited directly. Some files have been moved to locations conforming somewhat better to FHS. The new locations are listed in README-terabithia.
