<h1>How to uninstall <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> on Windows</h1>

</div><p class='vspace'>You can uninstall <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> on Windows by going to the "Add/Remove Programs" screen in the Control Panel. That should be all you need to do.
</p>
<p class='vspace'>However, uninstalling <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> leaves your settings (such as favourites, colours etc.) on your computer. Often, this is useful, since if you ever re-install <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> it will already be set up for you, but sometimes you might want to delete these settings, for example if something has gone wrong and you want to start again from scratch, or if you just don't like programs leaving stuff all over your computer.
</p>
<p class='vspace'>To remove the <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> settings from the Windows registry, follow these instructions:

</div><div class='vspace'></div><ul><li>First, uninstall <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> from the Add/Remove Programs screen. (Under Control Panel).
</li><li>Click the Start button then "Run".
</li><li>Type "regedit" and press Return.
</li><li>In the menu at the top chose "Edit" and click "Find"
</li><li>Make sure all three "look at" boxes are checked.
</li><li>Type "freeguide-tv" in the search box.
</li><li>Click "Find Next".
</li><li>Regedit should find a node called freeguide-tv. Right-click the node and choose "Delete".
</li><li>Now press F3 on the keyboard to find any other nodes also called freeguide-tv, and delete all of them in the same way.
</li></ul><p class='vspace'>This should remove all trace of <span class='wikiword'>FreeGuide</span> from your computer.
</p>
