Analysis of Results
</H1>
As the last step in the reduction sequence, the scientific analysis of
the data is dealing with the statistical comparison between models and
the extracted parameters.  Although this falls outside image
processing it is an important part of the reductions and is included
in modern data reduction systems.  Due to the large variety of data
only the most commonly used techniques are mentioned.
