Calling <a class="el" href="group__CUDART__MEMORY_g17f3a55e8c9aef5f90b67cdf22851375.html#g17f3a55e8c9aef5f90b67cdf22851375" title="Copies data between host and device.">cudaMemcpy2D()</a> with <code>dst</code> and <code>src</code> pointers that do not match the direction of the copy results in an undefined behavior. <a class="el" href="group__CUDART__MEMORY_g17f3a55e8c9aef5f90b67cdf22851375.html#g17f3a55e8c9aef5f90b67cdf22851375" title="Copies data between host and device.">cudaMemcpy2D()</a> returns an error if <code>dpitch</code> or <code>spitch</code> exceeds the maximum allowed.<p>
