Description:
The openldap-server package has the slapd daemon which is responsible
for handling the database and client queries.
The package includes:
- stand-alone LDAP server (slapd),
- stand-alone LDAP replication server (slurpd)
Install this package if you want to setup an OpenLDAP-2.x server.
You will also need some backend for server, so install some
openldap-backend package. The bdb backend is recommended.
